Developmentally Appropriate Adaptive Assessment in Action

November 28, 2012
We attended an administration of the Children's Progress Academic Assessment (CPAA) at Bronx Little Elementary School in New York City and asked students some questions about the program. CPAA is a developmentally appropriate adaptive assessment of key literacy and mathematics skills for Pre K - 3rd grade. It is available in English and Spanish and is used by educators for universal screening, early identification, and differentiation in line with RTI.
