KFOX Special Report: Assessment Reduces Special Education Referrals by 50%

November 28, 2012
This KFOX news clip describes the implementation of the Children's Progress Academic Assessment (CPAA) at Robert F. Kennedy Prekindergarten Academy in El Paso, Texas. This adaptive assessment was named a District Administration Readers' Choice Top 100 Product. It is used by schools, districts and state agencies nationwide. Based on research from Columbia University and MIT, it covers early literacy and mathematics content in English (Pre K - 3) and Spanish (Pre K - 2). Educators use it to screen and monitor progress in line with RTI, differentiate instruction, communicate with parents, and ensure that all students are on track well before 3rd grade.
